About Mir & Co.
Miranda. . .

Always having a desire for art, Miranda's earliest recollection of
drawing is her chalk board scenes for her kindergarten class.
Growing up, she took as many art classes as she could, even
attending the prestigious Memphis College of Art where she
studied photography.

After college, Miranda                                  free~lanced her
talents every chance                                    she got. These
talents included                                            photography,
painting windows &                                      signs, designing
logos, layout and design, as well as "dabbling" with faux finishes
on walls & furniture. It quickly became apparent that the finishes
" she dabbled" with were distinctive and unique. Soon, the
demand for her finishes launched her into a full~time career as
a faux artist. This new found career has provided her the
adventure of being able to travel, meet interesting people, and
being able to constantly seek new ways to expand her ever
growing vision.

Objective . . .

Miranda's objective in painting a room is to
bring harmony, balance, and completion to
the surrounding furnishings and adjacent
rooms. Understanding artistic composition and color, she is very
aware that everything has a purpose and her challenge is to
work with the designer and or client to bring that all together as
a masterpiece. As she would say, "it's like finding the perfect
necklace for the perfect outfit."

F.Y.I. . .

As Miranda's love for art and color expands, so does her ideas
of trying new ways to paint. She'll keep it simple when needed,
but if it calls for punch, she's ready to go. Always pushing the
limit with techniques and styles, you'll surely feel as though you
have a work of art created just for you.

Ethics. . .

Miranda has earned a reputation of reliability and trust from her
peers to her customers, and preserving this reputation is a
responsibility that is taken very seriously. She believes it is
important to act honestly and justly in all of her dealings.
Tennessee State Senator Curtis Person took notice of this
reputation and appointed Miranda Griffin
Aide~De~Camp in
September of 1997. It is this reputation and these beliefs that
are the foundation for her standards of business conduct.
